Supreme Lawn installation and underlay in Kent

Overview

Our client’s back garden was in desperate need of transformation. As their land was buried beneath paving and concrete with deep foundations, we needed to find a suitable solution that wouldn’t require the expense and upheaval of removing the concrete.

Our experienced team at Artificial Lawn Supply recommended our 20mm Lawnflex underlay and 45mm Supreme Lawn with some stepping stones to link the two lawn areas.

The problem

The main issue for this installation was the huge amounts of paving and concrete. Due to this, the garden had drainage problems and was very grey and dull. This would certainly cost a great deal to remove and artificial grass can be laid onto hard standing areas if correct underlay’s are used.

The solution

Our team supplied our 20mm Lawnflex underlay beneath the grass to improve drainage, add extra shock absorbance and prolong the lawn’s life. With our 45mm Supreme Lawn on top, and finished the lawn with curved stepping stones to add extra interest and detail.

The method

The installation was completed by the expert teams at our sister company Artificial Lawn Company. First, their team cleared the concrete of debris, before adding the interlocking Lawnflex tiles and fixing them around the perimeter with adhesive. They then installed the grass, which was cut to sharp and glued to the Lawnflex tiles around the edge. Finally, they added our ALC kiln-dried infill sand and brushed up the lawn using a mechanical rotary broom.

The result

Our client was left with two beautiful back garden areas, both with natural-looking Supreme Lawns. Thanks to our Lawnflex underlay, the lawns are also fully porous, allowing rainwater to run into nearby drains, and generally making the garden feel much softer.
